A native of Waco, Texas, and a 35+ year Tallahassee resident and former adjunct instructor, I've been a longtime proponent of quality education. I'm a Florida State University alumna holding a B.S. in Social Science and an M.S. in Information Studies. I also hold a professional certification in Public Management from the Florida Center for Public Management. I served as an Occupational Advisor at Lively Technical College's Business Management Program for over 20 years. My expertise spans across the areas of quality assurance and control, policy, procedure, and standards development, process improvement, project coordination, and key performance in Technology . However, what I'm most passionate is supporting student success and professional mentoring in life skills, soft skills, as well as academic and occupational advising. I'm the proud mother of two adult sons and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Black Girls Run, and GirlTrek. In my free time, I enjoy music, podcasts, nature walks, singing, and line dancing
